G.S.R 585(E) —In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with sub-rule (1) and the first previse to sub-rule (2) of rule 4 of the Indian Administrative Ser- vice (Cadre) Rules 1954 the Central Government, in consultation with the Gov- ernments of the States concerned, hereby makes the following regulations fur- ther to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, namely—
1. (1) These regulations may be called the Indian Administrate Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Twelfth Amendment Regulations, 1977
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official
