G.S.R. 587(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) cf section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with sub-section (4) of section 3 of the Finance Act, 1977 (11 of 1977), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification of the Government of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking (Revenue Wing) No. 138-Customs [G.S.R. No. 427-(E)], dated the 1st July, 1977, namely:—
