S.O. 637(E)/18A/IDRA/77.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act 1951 (65 of 1951), and in partial modification of the Order of the Government of India in the late Min- istry of Industrial Development Order No S O 608(E)/18A/IDRA/72, dated the 18th September, 1972, the Central Government hereby authorises with immediate effect the Industrial Reconstruction Corporation of India Limited, Calcutta, to take over the management of the Indian Rubber Manufacturers Limited, Calcutta

25IO T HE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINAHY PART II—SEC. 3(11)S.O 688(E)/18A/IDRA/77.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development No S.O 608(E)/18A/IDRA/72, dated the 18th September, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the management of the industrial undertaking known as the Indian Rubber Manu- facturers Limited, Calcutta, had been taken over for a period upto and inclusive of the 17th September,' 1977,
And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said Order should continue to have effect for a further period of two years,
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred bv the proviso to sub- section (2) of section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1991 (65 of 1951)4 the Central Government hereby directs that thp said Order shall continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 17th September, 1979.
