NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 31st August 1977

S.O. 645(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of section 6 of the Capital Issues (Control) Act, 1947 (29 of 1947), the Central Government hereby makes the following order further to amend the Capital Issues (Exemption!1 Order, 1969) namely—

], (i) This order may be called the Capital Issues (Exemption) Amendment Order, l977

(h) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

2 In clause 4 of the said order, in sub-clause (iv), after the words "The life Insurance Corporation of India," the words "The General Insurance Corporation of India and its subsidiaries namely, the National Insurance Company limited the New India Assurance Company Ltd., the Oriental Fire and General Insurance Company Limited and the United India Fire and General Insurance Company Limited," shall be inserted.
