S.O. 660 (E).—.The President being unable to discharge his functions owing to his absence from India from the 4th day of September, 1977, the Vice-President will, in pursuance of clause (2) of article 65 of the Constitution, discharge the func- tions of the President from that date until the date on which the President resumes his duties
