No. 71-ITC (PNV77.— Attention is invited to the Import Policy for Registered Exporters as contained in tine Import Trade Control Policy (Policy Book-Volume-II") for the period April 1977—March 1978 published under the Ministry of Commerce public Notice No. 2i-ITC(PN)/77 dated the 27th April 1977.
2. The following amendments may be made at the appropriate placet indicated below,—•

may be added :— "(2) For the purpose of calculating REP benefits on export of Handicrafts containing not more than 50% silver by weight the Licensing Authority will exclude the value of silver Irom the frb value of the export product- The balance fob value of export will only be eligible for REP benefltSj if otherwise admissi- ble under the Policy.
Applications should be accompanied by e Chartered Accountant Certificate indicating the quantity of silver content and its value used in the export product based on which the licensing authority will work out the REP entitlement after excluding the value of silver. (^ If Handicrafts contain more than 50% silver by weight j no REP ben efits will be admissible thereon"
3. The existing classification shown agaitrt 'Let-tr-games' 'Ludn' 'Morosely'' ard 'Sankes and Ladders' on page xxxv in Saction IV of the Policy Book (Vol. II) for 1977-78 may be amended to read j"> "C 28".
4. Thettem "Cement mosaic/tcrrezetile1. made of grey & white cement including stone atid marble chips" may be deemed to have been classified under SI No. B 61-3 in Section IV of the Policy Brok Vol. II) for J977-'V8.
