New Delhi , the 15th September 1977
S.O. 669 ( E ) . The Central Government , having considered the application for renewal of recognition made under section 3 of the Securities Contracts (Regu- lation ) Act , 1956 ( 42 of 1956 ) read with rule 7 of the Securities Contracts ( Regu- Jation) Rules , 1957 , by the Ahmedabad Share and Stock Brokers Association, Ahmedabad ( hereinafter referred to as the Exchange ) and being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do , hereby grants , in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the said Act recognition to the Exchange , under scetion 4 of the said Act , for a further period of five vears commencing on the 16th September , 1977 and ending with the 15th Septernber , 1982 , in respect of contracts in securities , subject to the

conditions stated herein below and such other conditions as may be prescribed or Imposed hereafter .
CONDITIONS
1. Rule 96 of the rules of the Stock Exchange , shall be suitably amended so as to reduce the number of elected members of the Governing Board of the Exchange from fiften to twelve .
2. A new sub - clause shall be added to rule 17 of the Rules of the Stock Exchange providing for minimum educational qualification for new members as under
"no person shall be eligible to be elected as a member after the coming into force of this clause unless he has passed matriculation or an equivalent examination . "
The rules of the Exchange shall be amended for the purpose aforesaid as early as possible but in no case later than a period of one year from 16th September , 1977 .

नई दिल्ली, 15 सितम्बर , 1977
का ० श्रा 669 ( प्र) केन्द्रीय सरकार, अहमदाबाद शेयर एण्ड स्टाक ब्रोकर्स एसोसिये- शन, अहमदाबाद ( जिसे इसने इसके पश्चात् एक्सचेज कहा गया है ) द्वारा प्रतिभूति संविदा (विनियमन ) नियम , 1957 के नियम 7 के साथ पठित प्रतिभूति सविदा ( विनियमन ) अधिनियम , 1956 ( 1956 का 42 ) की धारा 3 के अन्तर्गत मान्यता का नवीकरण किये जाने के लिए दिये गये आवेदन पत्र पर विचार करने और इस बात से सन्तुष्ट होने के बाद कि ऐसा करना व्यापार के हित में तथा लोक हित मे भी होगा, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 4 के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए एतद्वारा इस एक्सचेंज को , 16 सितम्बर,, 1977 से शुरू होने वाली और 15 सितम्बर , 1982 के साथ समाप्त होने थाली 5 वर्ष की और अवधि के लिए, प्रतिभूतियो के सधिवाओं के सम्बन्ध में नीचे दी गई शर्तों और ऐसी अन्य शर्तों के अनुमार जो बाद में निर्धारित की जाएगी अथवा लागू की जायेगी , मान्यता प्रदान करती है
1 स्टाक एक्सचेज नियमो के नियम 96 में उपयुक्त सशोधन किया जाएगा ताकि ऐक्सचेज के शामी बोर्ड के चुने हुए सदस्यो की संख्या को पन्द्रह से घटाकर बारह किया था सके ।

2. स्टाक ऐक्सचेंज नियमों के नियम 17 में एक नया उप- खण्ड जोडा आएगा जिसमे नये सदस्यो के लिए न्यूनतम शैक्षिक अर्हता की इस प्रकार व्यवस्था की आयेगी
"इस खण्ड के लागू होने के बाद कोई भी ऐसा व्यक्ति सदस्य चुने जाने का पात्त्र नही होगा जिसने मैट्रिक या इसके समकक्ष परीक्षा पास न की हो । "
ऐक्सचेज के नियमो मे उक्त प्रयोजन के लिए यथाशीघ्र मशोधन किया जाएगा लेकिन उसमे 16 सितम्बर, 1977 से 1 वर्ष की अवधि से अधिक देरी किसी भी हालत में नही होगी ।
