ORDER

New Delhi, the 17th September 1977S.O. 672(E)/18FB/IDRA/77.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development (Department of Industrial Development) No. SO, 36(E)/18FB/IDRA/73, dated the 19th January, 1973. (here- inafter referred to as the said Order), the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18FB of the Industries (Develop- ment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951) declared that the operation of all or any of the contracts, assurances of property, agreements, settlements, awards or other instruments in force immediately before the publication of the said Order in the Official Gazette (other than those relating to banks and financial institutions) to which the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Indian Rubber Manufacturers Limited, Calcutta, is a party or which may be applicable to the said industrial undertaking shall remain suspended upto the 18th January, 1974 and all rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities accruing or arising thereunder before the said date shall remain suspended upto the 18th January, 1974, And, whereas the duration of the said Order was extended upto the 17th September 1977; (2571)

And, whereas (tu Central Government 1, qatisfled that the duration of the said Order should be extended IOJ a fuither period upto and inclusive of the liith January, 1978,

No™ therefore, in exeicise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1;, read with sub-section (2), of section 18FB of the Industries (Development and Regu- lation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby extends the duration of the said Order upto the 18th January, 1978
