New Delhi , the 21st September 1977
G.S R. 613 ( E ) . The following draft of certain rules further to amend the Tea Board ( Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Officers appointed by Govern- ment ) Rules , 1971 , which the Central Government proposes to make , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) , read with clause (d ) of sub - section (2 ) , of section 49 of the Tea Act , 1953 ( 29 of 1953 ) , is hereby published as required by sub - section ( 1 ) of the said section for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby , and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of 40 days
Any objection or suggestion , which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft amendment before the date so specified will be consider- ed by the Central Government

DRAFT RULES
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Tea Board ( Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Officers appointed by Government ) Amendment Rules , 1977 .
( 2) They shall come into force
2. In column 8 of the Schedule to the Tea Board ( Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Officers appointed by Government ) Rules , 1971 , against the post of Secretary, for the heading " By Promotion " and the entry thereunder , the follow- ing shall be substituted , namely -
"By Promotion
Controller of Licensing and the Assistant Secretary , Tea Board, having mınimum of 5 years' service in the respective grade and Special - Officer for North West India " ,

(चाय नियंत्रण )
नई दिल्ली, 21 सितम्बर , 1977
सा० का ० नि० 613 ( प्र) केन्द्रीय सरकार , चाय अधिनियम , 1953 की धारा 49 की उपधारा ( 2 ) के खण्ड ( घ ) के साथ पठित उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए , चाय बोर्ड, ( सरकार द्वारा नियुक्त श्रधिकारियो की भर्ती और सेवा की शर्ते ) नियम , 1971 में और संशोधन करने के लिए कतिपय नियम बनाने का प्रस्ताव करनी है । उक्त धारा की उपधारा ( 1 ) की अपेक्षानुमार निम्नलिखित प्रारूप उन सभी व्यक्तियो की जानकारी के लिए प्रकाशित किया जा रहा है, जिनके उसमे प्रभावित होने की सभावना है और इसके द्वारा सूचना दी जाती है कि चालीस दिन की समाप्ति पर या उसके पश्चात् उक्त प्रारूप पर विचार किया जाएगा ,
इस प्रकार विनिर्दिष्ट तारीख से पूर्व यदि उक्न प्रारूप सशोधन की बाबत किसी भी व्यक्ति से कोई भी आक्षेप या सुझाव प्राप्त होंगे तो केन्द्रीय सरकार उन पर विचार करेगी ।
नियमों का प्रारूप
1 ( 1 ) इन नियमो का नाम चाय बोर्ड ( सरकार द्वारा नियुक्त अधिकारियो की भर्ती और सेवा की शर्ते) सशोधन नियम, 1977 है ।
(2) ये ..... को प्रवृत्त होगे ।

2. चाय बोर्ड ( सरकार द्वारा नियुक्त अधिकारियों की भर्ती और सेवा की शर्ते ) नियम , 1977 की अनुसूची के स्तम्भ 8 मे, सचिव के पद के सामने , शीर्ष "प्रोन्नति द्वारा " और तबीन प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर , निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा , अर्थात् -
"प्रोन्नति द्वारा
अनुज्ञापन नियत्रक और सहायक सचिव, चाय बोर्ड, जिसने अपनी अपनी श्रेणी में कम से कम पांच वर्ष सेवा की हो और उत्तर पश्चिम भारत का विशेष अधिकारी । "
