RESOLUTION
New Delhi , the 13th October 1977
No. 4 / 6 / 77 -BPE ( IMP ) . The Government of India vide Resolution No 4/6/77- BPE ( IMP ) dated January 31 , 1977 had decided to abolish the Industrial Manage- ment Pool with effect from March 31 , 1977 The Government have reviewed this decision and decided that in supersession of the earlier orders the Industrial Manage- ment Pool ( IMP ) should be allowed to continue as in force prior to 31-3-1977 .
2 The Government have taken the following further decisions in this context.-
( i ) Those officers of the IMP who had , under the earlier orders , sought to avail of the terminal benefits or absorption in the enterprises where they were serving , may now continue in the IMP , if they so desire ,
(in) Officers who had earlier exercised their option either for availing of terminal benefits or for absorption in the enterprises in terms of the Government of India Resolution No. 4/ 6 / 77 - BPE ( IMP ) dated January 31 , 1977 may be asked to reiterate their option for availing of terminal benefits or absorption in the enterprises ;
( iii ) Officers who reiterate their desire to be absorbed in the enterprises would get the benefits as mentioned in para 2 of the earlier Resolution dated January 31 , 1977 Similarly , those who adhere to their earlier option to avail of terminal benefits would be entitled to the benefits contained in para 3 of the said Resolution .

3. In accordance with the above decisions , all officers of the IMP are required to indicate in the form specified , whether they would like to continue in the IMP or seek terminal benefits / absorption in enterprises as per their earlier options given in accordance with the Resolution dated January 31 , 1977

Ordered that the Resolution be published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part I Section I. 74
Ordered also that a copy of the Resolution be communicated to all Ministries / Departments of the Government of India and the Public Enterprises of the Govern- ment of India for Implementation

सं० 4 677- बी० पी० ई ० ( आई ० एम ० पी ० ) भारत सरकार ने दिनाक 31 जनवरी , 1977 के 4/ 6/ 77-- बी ० पी ० ई ० ( आई ० एम ० पी ० ) सख्यक संकल्प के द्वारा औद्योगिक प्रबन्ध समूह को दिनांक 31 मार्च , 1977 से समाप्त करने का निर्णय किया था । सरकार ने उक्त निर्णय पर पुनर्विचार करके पिछले आदेशों का अधिलंघन करते हुए , अब यह निर्णय किया है कि औद्यो- गिक प्रबन्ध समूह को 31-3-77 से पहले की तरह, यथावत चालू रखा जाय ।
2. सरकार ने इस संदर्भ में कुछ और निर्णय भी किए हैं, जो इस प्रकार है
( i) औद्योगिक प्रबन्ध समूह के जिन अधिकारियो ने पिछले आदेशो के अनुसार सेवान्त लाभ प्राप्त करने या वे जिन उद्यमो में काम कर रहे थे , उनमें अपना अन्तर्लयन कराने के लिए लिख दिया था , वे यदि चाहे , तो अब औद्योगिक प्रबन्ध समूह में बने रह सकते है ,
( ii ) जिन अधिकारियो ने भारत सरकार के दिनांक 31 जनवरी , 1977 के 4677- बी० पी० ई० (आई ० एम ० पी ० ) संख्यक सुकल्प के अनुसार सेवान्त लाभ प्राप्त करने या उद्यमो मे अन्तर्लयन कराने के लिए , अपना विकल्प दे दिया था , उनसे फिर यह पूछा जाये कि वे सेवान्त लाभ प्राप्त करना चाहते हैं या उद्यमों में अपना अन्तर्लयन चाहते है ;
( iii ) जो अधिकारी अभी भी उद्यमो में अपना अन्तर्लयन चाहे , उन्हें दिनांक 31 जनवरी , 1977 के संकल्प के पैरा 2 मे उल्लिखित सभी लाभ मिलेगे । इसी प्रकार जो अधिकारी अपने पिछले विकल्प के अनुसार अभी भी सेवान्त लाभ लेना चाहें , वे उक्त अधिनियम के पैरा 3 में उल्लिखित लाभ प्राप्त करने के हकदार हैं ।
3. उपर्युक्त निर्णयो के अनसार औद्योगिक प्रबन्ध समूह के सभी अधिकारियो को अब एक निर्दिष्ट प्रपत्र में यह सूचित करना होगा , कि वे औद्योगिक प्रबन्ध समूह में बना रहना चाहते है या उन्होने 31 जनवरी , 1977 के सकल्प के अनुसार पहले जो विकल्प दिया था , उसके अनुसार सेवान्त लाभ प्राप्त करना चाहते हैं उद्यमों में अन्तर्लयन चाहते हैं ।

यह आदेश दिया जाता है कि यह संकल्प भारत के असाधारण राजपत्त्र के भाग 1 खण्ड 1 में प्रकाशित किया जाय ।
यह भी आदेश दिया जाता है कि इस संकल्प की एक प्रति भारत सरकार के सभी मत्त्रालयो / विभागों तथा भारत सरकार के सभी सरकारी उद्यमो को कार्यान्वयन के लिए भेजी जाय ।
