New Delhi , the 15th October 1977
GSR. 642 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944. the Central Government hereby exempts ball bear- ings (with mild steel races ) falling under Item No 49 of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 ( 1 of 1944 ) , upto a value not exceeding rupees five lakhs cleared for home consumption , on or after the 1st day of April in any financial year by or on behalf of a manufacturer from one or more factories in which an hydraulic grinding machine is not installed , from the whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon:
Provided that-
( 1 ) where a factory producing such bearings is run at different times of any financial year by different manufacturers , the value of such bearings so cleared in any such year at il rate of duty shall not exceed rupees five lakhs;
(11 ) in the case of such hearings the value of which so cleared during such financial year exceeds rupees five lakhs , this exemption shall apply only to the first clearances thereof unto a value not exceeding rupees five lakhs

package thereof shall bear ( iii ) each such bearing and the on them the words " MADE WITH MILD STEEL RACES" embossed or , as the case may be , printed :
Provided further that a manufacturer shall be permitted to clear for home consumption during the period commencing on the 15th day of October , 1977 , and ending with the 31st day of March , 1978 , such bearings upto a value not exceeding rupees two lakhs and twenty five thousand .

सा. का. नि. 642 (अ) -केन्द्रीय सरकार , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम , 1944 के नियम 8 के उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय उत्पादशुल्क और नमक अधि नियम , 1944 ( 1944 का । ) की प्रथम अनुसूची की मद से 49 के अन्तर्गत सम्मिलित, पांच लाख रूपए से अधिक मूल्य के वैयरिंगों ( मद, इस्पात रसों सहित) कां, जिनकी निकासी किसी विनिर्माता द्वारा या उसकी ओर से किसी वित्तीय वर्ष में 1 अप्रैल को या उसके पश्चात किसी ऐसे एक या अधिक कारखाने से जिसमे हाइड्रोलिक ग्राइडिंग मशीन नहीं लगी हुई हो, देशी उचभांग के लिए की जाए, उन पर उद्महणीय समस्त उत्पादशुल्क से छूट देती है :
परन्तु, यह कि
(i ) जहां ऐसे बैयरिंगों का उत्पादन करने वाला कारखाना विभिन्न विनिर्माताओं द्वारा किसी वित्तीय वर्ष की विभिन्न अवधियों में चलाया जाता है , वहां किसी ऐसे वर्ष में शुल्क की शून्य वर से इस प्रकार निकासी किए गए ऐसे वैयरिंगों का मूल्य पांच लाख रूपए से अधिक नहीं होगा।
( ii) ऐसे वित्तीय वर्ष के दौरान इस प्रकार से निकासी किए गए उन रोलन बँयरिंगों की दशा में , जिनका मूल्य पांच लाख रुपए से अधिक हो, यह छूट पांच लाख रुपए से अनधिक मूल्य तक की उनकी केवल प्रथम निकासियों को लागू होगी,
( iii ) ऐसे प्रत्येक वैयरिंगों और उनके पैकजों पर "मृद, इस्पात रेलों से निर्मित " शब्द अंकित किए जाएंगे या छापे जाएंगे :
परन्तु यह और कि 15 अक्तूबर 1977 को प्रारम्भ होने वाली और 31 मार्च 1978 को समाप्त होने वाली अवधि के दौरान , किसी विनिर्माता को दो लाख पच्चीस हजार रूपए से अधिक मुख्य तक के ऐसे कैंरिंगोंकी देशी उपभोग के लिए निकासी की अनुज्ञा दी जाएगी ।

GS.R. 643 ( E ) -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , the Central Government hereby makes the follow- ing amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No 104 / 71 - Central Excises , dated the 29th May , 1971 , namely :-
In the said notification , for the words " exempts rolling bearings " , the words and brackets " exempts rolling bearings ( other than ball bear- ings with mild steel races ) " shall be substituted .

सा. का. जि. 643 (अ ) केन्द्रीय सरकार , केन्द्रीय उत्पाक्ष शुल्क नियम , 1944 के नियम 8 के उप- नियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं . 104/71 केन्द्रीय उत्पादशुल्क, तारीख 29 मई, 1971 में निम्मलिखित संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्
उक्त अधिसूचना में " रोलन वैयरिगों" शब्दों के स्थान पर " रोलन वैयरिंगों (मृद्द, इस्पात 'सों से युक्त बॉल वैयरिंगों से भिन्न) " शब्द और कोष्ठक रखे जाएंगे ।
