NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 10th October 1977
S.O. 725(E).—Whereas the Government of Nagaland have intimated a change in the name of village included in 30-Alungtaki assembly constituency men- tioned in Schedule XVI to the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Con- stituencies Order, 1976;
And whereas the Commission considers it necessary to make the amendment in the description of the extent of constituency in Schedule XVI of the Delimita- tion of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 1976, to bring the Order up-to-date,
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec- tion 9 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, the Election Commission- hereby makes corrections in the said Order as follows:—
I. In 30-Alungtaki, in the description of the extent of constituency, for "Molung- yimjen'' read "Molungkimong"; and
II. In the Foot Note at the end of the Schedule, for the words and figures "1st day of August, 1975" the words and figures "1st day of August, 1977" shall be substituted..
