G.3.R. 6 5 0 ( E ) .— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (viii a) of section 2 of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954 (37 of 1954), the Central Government hereby appoints the officer mentioned in column (a) of the Schedule annexed hereto to be the Local (Health) Authority incharge of the Health administration in the local area respectively specified against him in column (3) of the said Schedule,
