New Delhi, the 17th October, 1977

SUBJECT.—Export of Real Madras Handkerchiefs (RMHK) to Cotonou Lome and Accra (Ghana)—Introduction of LC terms.

No. 28-ETC(PN)/77.—Reference Export Trade Control Amendment Order No, E(C)O, 1977/AM(22) dated 17th October, 1977 on the above subject.

2. It has been decided that w e f 1st November, 1977 upto 31st March, 1978 export of Real Madras Handkerchiefs to Cotonou, Lome and Accra (Ghana) will be allowed under irrevocable letter of credit terms alone. Export to these destina- tions against contracts entered into before 1st November, 1977 would however be permitted even on terms other than L/C terms provided such contracts have been registered with Handloom Export Promotion Council immediately latest by 25th October, 1977.
