NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th October 1977
S.O. 739(E)—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and clauses (a), (b), (c) and (d) of Sub section (2) of section 44 of the Road Transport Corporations Act, 1950 (64 of 1950), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Delhi Transport Corporation (Members) Rules, 1973, namely —
1. (1) These Rules may be called Delhi Transport Corporation (Members) Second Amendment Rules, 1977,
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette
2. In the Delhi Transport Corporation (Members) Rules, 1973, for rule 4, the following shall be substituted namely—
4 Term of Office—(1) The term of office of the Chairman-cum-General Manager of the Corporation shall be two years from the date of his appointment and he shall be eligible for re-appointment
