No. F.12(4)/77-R&C—Whereas in pursuance of the provisions of section 2 of the Salary and Allowances of Leaders of Opposition in Parliament Act, 1977 (33 of 1977), the Chairman of the Council 01 Stales has recognised Shri Kamlapathi Tirpathi as the Leader of the Opposition in the Council of States;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby notifies Shri Kamlapati Tripathi as the Leader of the Opposition in the Council of States with effect from the 1st day of November 1977 for the purposes of the said Act.

B. Chavan as the Leader of the Opposition in the House of the People,Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby notifies Shri Y. B. Chavan as the Leader of- the Opposition in the House of the People with effect from the 1st November, 1977, for the purposes of the said Act
