NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1th November 1977
S.O. 754(E).—Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the Narmada Water Disputes Tribunal, constituted by the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Irrigation and Power No S O. 4054, dated the 6th October, 1969, con- sequent on the resignation of Shri Justice V P Gopalan Nambiar,
And whereas the Chief Justice of India has nominated Shri Justice M, R. A. Ansan, Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, to fill the said vacancy under section 5-A of the Inter-State Water Disputes Act, 1956 (33 of 1956),
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4, read with section 5-A of the said Act, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the said notification, namely —
In the said notification, for item (11), the following item shall be substituted, namely.—
"(ii) Shri Justice M R A Ansari, Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir Member "
