NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th November 1977
S.O, 758 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 31 of the Iron Ore Mines Labour Welfare Cess Rules, 1903 and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour No S.O 467 (E) dated, 9th July, 1976, the Central Government hereby specifies Shri Daijit Singh, Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Labour, New Delhi to be the Iron Ore Mines Cess Commissioner, who shall be responsible for the assessment and collection of the duty of excise levied under clause (b) of section 2 of Iron Ore Mines Labour Welfare Cess Act, 1961 (58 of 1961) with effect from 8-11-77 to 31-13-77 or till a Director General (Labour Welfare ) is appointed, whichever is earlier.
