ORDER
New Delhi, the 17th November , 1977
G.S.R. 706(E).—Whereas it appears to the Central Government that it is necessary and
expedient so to do for securing the equitable distribution of the essential commodity, namely ferti-
lizer;
Now, therefore, in exorcise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Essential Commodities
Act, 1935 (10 of 1955) the Central Government hereby directs that the manufacturers specified
in the schedule given below :—
1. Shall sell to the registered fertilizer dealers in the States, Union Territories and the Com-
modity Gardens mentioned in Column of the sail schedule fertilisers of the description
and quantity mentioned therein during the period 1st August to 31st January, 1978 at
the rate of one sixth of the quantity specified in the schedule in a month; and
2. Shall submit to the Central Government and the State Government or U.T's or Commodity
Boards pertaining to the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column a of the said schedule
a statement by the 15th day of every month containing therein —
(i) The quantity of fertilisers despatched to various dealers in the States, Union Terri"
tories and the Commodity Gardens, mentioned in Column 1 with the dates of despatch
during previous month; and
(ii) the quantity of fertiliser which the said manufacturer proposes to despatch to the
various dealers in the States, Union Territories and Commodity Gardens mentioned
in Column I in the succeeding month.
