OIL INDUSTRY ( DEVELOPMENT ) AMENDMENT RULES , 1977
G.S.R 742 ( E ) .-- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 31 of the Oil makes the following rules to amend the Oil Industry ( Development ) Rules , 1978, IndustryIndustry (Development )( Development ) Act , 1974 ( 47 of 1974 ) , the Central Government hereby namely
1. These rules may be called the Oil Industry ( Development ) Amendment Rules , 1977 .
2. In rule 19 of the Oil Industry ( Development ) Rules , 1975 ( hereinafter referred to as the said rules ) , in sub - rule (3 ) , the words or take such other action in respect of the matter as may , in the opinion of the Central Government, be just or expedient , having regard to all the circumstances of the case" chali be omitted ,
3. In sub - rule ( 3 ) of rule 20 of the said rules , for the words "journey performed by an official " , the words " journey performed by a member who s an official" shall be substituted .

4 In rule 28 of the said rules.-
(a) in sub - rule ( 4 ) , for the words beginning with "The Chairman shall have power " and ending with " to sanction expenditure " , the following words shall be substituted , namely : -
"The Chairman shall have power to sanction expenditure " ;
(b) for sub - rule ( 9 ) , the following sub - rule shall be substituted , namely - " ( 9 ) Where the Chairman takes such a decision , he shall submit the ame for ratification by the Board or the Committee , as the case may be, at its next sitting .
Provided that if the Board or the Committee modifles or annuls the decision taken by the Chairman, such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of any action taken proviously as a result of that decision "

तल उद्योग ( विकास ) संशोधन नियम , 1977
सा० हा ० नि ० 712 ( थ ) केन्द्रीय सरकार, तेल उद्योग (विकास ) अधिनियम, 1974 ( 1974 का 47 ) की धारा 31 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए , तेल उद्योग ( विकास ) वियम, 1975 में सशोधन करने के लिए , निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्'--
1. इन नियमों का नाम तेल उद्योग ( विकास ) सशोधन नियम, 1977 है ।
2 तेल उद्योग ( विकास ) नियम, 1975 ( जिसे इसमे इसके पश्चात् उक्त नियम कहा गया है ) के नियम 19 में उपनियम ( 3 ) मे मे "या मामले की बाबत ऐसी अन्य कार्रवाई कर सकेगी जो केन्द्रीय सरकार की राय मे मामले को समस्त परिस्थितियों को ध्यान में रखते हुए न्यायोचित या समीचीन हो । " शब्दो का लोप किश आएगा ।
3 उक्त नियम के नियम 20 के उपनियम ( 3 ) में, " किसी अधिकारी द्वारा की गई यात्रा" शब्दले के स्थान पर "किसी ऐसे सदस्य द्वारा की गई यात्रा जो पदधारी हो " शब्द रखे आयेंगे ।
4. उक्त नियमो के नियम 28 मे,--
(क) उप नियम ( 1 ) के खण्ड ( II ) मे "प्राकस्मिकता " शब्द का लोप किया जाएगा;
(वा ) उप नियम ( 9 ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित उपनियम रखा आएगा, अर्थात्.--
"( 9 ) जहा अध्यक्ष एसा विनिश्वय करता है, वहां वह उसको पुष्टि के लिए उसे यथास्थिति, बोर्ड या समिति के समक्ष उसकी आगामी बैठक में प्रस्तुत करेवा ।

परन्तु यिदि बोर्ड या समिति अध्यक्ष द्वारा किए गए विनिश्वक को उपान्तरित या विखण्डित कर देती है तो ऐसे उपान्तरण या विखण्डन का उस विनिश्चय के परिणाम- स्वरूप की गई किसी पूर्वक कार्रवाई पर कोई प्रतिकूल प्रभाव नहीं पड़ेगा । "
