EXPORT TRADE CONTROL

New Delhi, the 29th December 1977

SUBJECT.—Export of Timber.

No. 37-ETC(PN)/77 —Attention Is invited to Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No 33-ETC(PN)/77, dated 6th December 1977 regarding export of timber

2 Para 8 (a) of the said Public Notice may be partially amended to read as under:—

"8(a)(i)-Export of Rosewood (Delborgia Latifolia) in log and sawn form will be allowed in the current year within the celling of 10,000 ("Ten thousand) cubic metres already prescribed for the period 1977-78 In the distribution of the said quota among the different applicants. preference will be given by the licensing authority to those who have already registered, to the satisfaction of the concerned licensing authority their commitments prior to tho issue of the Public Notice No 13-ETC (PN)/77, dated 18th July 1977, and only the remaining quantity, if any, shall be available for fresh applicants

3 Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 33-ETC(PN)/77, dated 6th December, 1977, may be deemed to have been amended accordingly.
