G.S.R. 785(E)—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec- tion 25 of the Customs Act l962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do. hereby makes the following further amendment;, in the notification of the Government of India in the 'Department of Revenue and Banking No '888-Customs dated 2nd August, 197G, namely -
In the said notification
(a) in the opening paragraph the words , "and polynosre staple fibre"
shall he omitted, and
(b) in paragraph 2. for the figures letters and word 31 st December, 1977", the figures, letters and word , 31st March 2978 shall be substituted (2445)
