PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 2-ETC(PN)/78~F. No. 28/3/78/ El.—It bas been decided to ban the export of Cummin Seed and Turmeric with immediate effect.
However, pre ban commitments shall be honoured where parties have entered into firm contracts backed by either irre- vocable letter of credit opened and accepted by Indian Banks or payments received before the date of ttiis notice.
