NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 5th January, 1978
CUSTOMS
S.O. 5(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and In- surance) No. 75-Customs, dated the 3rd July, 1975, namely;—
In the Table annexed to the said notification, against
Serial No. 1, in column 3,—
(i) for item (a), the following item shall be substituted,

(li) in item (b)—
(a) for sub-item (iv), the following sub-item shull
be substituted, namely :—
(x) vegetables and fresh fruits, (xi) ice cream, fxii) betel leaves, (xiii) live plants, (xlv) live animals such as sheep and goat,
fxv) books, periodicals, magazines, calendars and
newspapers.
