NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th January, 1978.
S.R.O. 1-E .—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 2 of the Armed Forces (Emergency Duties) Act, 1947 (15 of 1947) and in continuation of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Defence S.R.O. No. 31-E dated the 15th December, 1977, the Central Government hereby declares every service forming part of, or con- nected with water works and water supply, milk processing and milk supply schemes and fire brigades, and also operation, maintenance and running of their plants and machinery, in the State of Maharashtra to be a service of vital importance to the community for a further period of one month with effect from the 15th day of January, 1978.
