NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 12th Jjinumy, 1978

tlJS.K. 29(E).—In eAercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-

jection (2) of Section 3 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (6 of 1974), the Central Government hereby nominates Shri S. K. Ghoshal, Chairman of th-¹ West Bengal State Board tor Prevention and Con- trot of Water Pollution, Calcutta, as a Member of the Central Board for the Prevention and Control of Water Pollution, constituted by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Works and Housing, No. G.S.R, 398(E) dated the 21st September, 1974, vice Or. A. K. Bancrjee, with effect from the 14th January, 1978 and directs that the following amendment shall be made in the said notification, namely :—

In the said notification, for serial number 14 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely :—

"14. Shti S, K, Ghoshal, Chairman, West Bengal State Board for Prevention and Control of Water Pollution, Calcutta. Member."
