NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 20th lanuary, 1978

S. O. 26(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Sick Textile Undertakings (Nationalisation) Act, 1974 (57 of 1974) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry pf Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S. O. 14(E). dated the lllh January, 1978, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri S. K. Sarkar us Commissioner of Payments and defines the local limits within which the aaid Commissioner of Payments shall exercise the powers conferred and perform the duties imposed on him, as the whole of India.
