का० आ० 28 ( अ ) मेथालय मरकार ने संसदीय और विधान सभा निर्वाचन-क्षेत्र परिसीमन श्रादेश, 1976 की अनुसूची 15 में कुछ मुद्रण सम्बन्धी भूल तथा अनवधानता से हुई भूल या लोप से उद्भूत गलतिया भौर उस आवेश में वणित निर्वाचन क्षेत्रो के विस्तार के वर्णन मे निदिष्ट कतिपय क्षेत्रीय खण्डों की मीमाओं और नामों से कुछ परिवर्तन सूचित क्रिये है,
और, निर्वाचन आयोग , ससदीय और विधान सभा निर्वाचन-क्षेत्र परिसीमन आदेश , 1976 को अद्यतन बनाने के लिये उन मुद्रण सम्बन्धी अशुद्धियों को शुद्ध करना और उस आदेश की अनुसूची 15 में दिये गये उन निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के विस्तार के वर्णन में संशोधन करना आवश्यक और समीचीन समझता है ।
अत , अय लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1950 की द्वारा 9 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , निर्वाचन आयोग उक्त आदेश में निम्नलिखित शुद्धिया करता है:- 1. उस अनुसूची के भाग ख मे
( 1 ) 3-सुतंगा शांगपुग तथा 4- रलियाग में, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में, " 6/ 5/ 180-शांगपुगमिशन और 6/ 5/181- थाडमुथलोग " के स्थान पर, " 6/ 5/ 180-शांगपूग मिशन, 6/5/181-थाडमुथलोग और 6/ 5/ 194-रतियंग-शागपुग " पढ़ा जायेगा,
( 2) 6 -नोंगबाह यहियाजेर मे, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में, " 6/ 5/ 55 - उम्मुलोंग " के स्थान पर, "साबाहमुमवग, 6/5/ 55-

(5) 12-मईरंग में, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में जहा कही " शिलांग पुलिस स्टेशन" शब्द आये उसके स्थान पर "पश्चिमी खासी हिल्य जिला में मईरग उप -खण्ड" शब्द रखे जायेगे,

(8) 15-मेन्मिइम , 16 -मलकी नोगथेग्माई, 17-लाइट्मखराह , 18-पेथो रुमखराह , 23 -मावलाई तथा 24-सोहरेगखाम निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के विस्तार के वर्णन मे , जहा कही " शिलांग पुलिग स्टेशन" शब्द आये , उसके स्थान पर , " पूर्व खासी हिल्स जिला में शिलांग पुलिम स्ट्रेशन," शब्द रखे जायेंगे ,
(9) 25- ভিসিলিহগ, 26-नांगप्रेम तथा 27-लंगकेरडेम निर्वाचन- क्षेत्रो के विस्तार के वर्णन में, जहां कही "पेनुर्सला इनवैस्टी- गेटिग सेटर" शब्द आये उनके स्थान पर, " पूर्व खासी हिल्स जिला में पेनुर्सला इनवेस्टीगेटिग सेंटर" शब्द रख जायेगे ,
( 10) 28-नोंगशकेन, 29 -सोहरा , 30-शेल्ला और 31 -मावसेनराम निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के विस्तार के वर्णन मे, स्टेणन" शब्द आये , उनके स्थान पर , में चेरी पुलिस म्ट्रेशन" शब्द रखें जायेंगे । जहा कही "चेर्रा पुलिम " पूर्व खासी हिल्स जिता
( 11) 2५ -सोहग निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के घर्णन मे, " 284- डिष्टईदान" के स्थान पर , " 284-डेगदान" पढ़ा आयेगा,
(12) 32-माथकेरबाट मे, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विम्तार के वर्णन मे, विद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर " पश्चिमी खासी हिल्स जिला मे महराम सेइमशिप ( परिशिष्ट की मद ( 14 ) मे विनिदिष्ट ग्रामो को छाड़कर ) " प्रयिष्टि ग्खी जायेगी ,
(13 ) 33-पेरिओग , 34-नोगम्टोइन, 33 -लारिन और 36-माव- थेगकुर निर्वाचन क्षेत्रो के विस्तार के वर्णन में , जहा कही "नोगस्टोइन उप-खण्ड" शब्द श्राये , उनके स्थान पर " पश्चिमी ब्रासी हिल्म जिला" पढ़ा जायेगा;
(14) 34-नोगस्टोइन निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन मे, "मोरिकाव की सयुक्त संपत्ति सेइर्माशपे " के स्थान पर, "मेरिकाव सेइम- शिपे की सयुक्त संपत्ति" पढ़ा जायेगा;
(15) 36- मावथेंगकुर निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन के पश्चात्, "गारो हिल्स जिला" शीर्षक के स्थान पर " पूर्व और पश्चिमी गारो हिल्स जिले" शब्द रखे जायेंगे ;
( 16) 37 - वाघमारा मे , निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन मे , त्रिद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर "पश्चिमी गारो हिल्स जिला के श्राघमारा उपखण्ड में मौजा स ० । ( भाग ) के लस्कर इलाका म० 1 , 2, 3 और 6क तथा मौजा सं ० 9 के परिशिष्ट की मद ( 19) में विनिविष्ट ग्राम" शब्द रखे जाएंगे;
(17) 38 - रोग रंगगिरि मे, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन मे, विद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर " पश्चिमी गारो हिल्स जिले के बाथमाग उपखण्ड में मौजा स ० 1 ( भाग ) के लस्कर इलाक

(19) 45-टिफरोकिल्ला, 46 - डाडेगगिरि, 47 - रोगयुगिरि, 48- फलबाड़ी , 19 -राजबाला , 50 मेलसेल्ला, 51 - रोनग्राम और 52 -तुरा निर्वाचन क्षेत्रो के विस्तार के वर्णन मे, "तुरा उपखण्ड" जहां कही मशब्द आएं , उनके स्थान पर , " पश्चिमी गारो हिल्म जिला के सुग उपखण्ड" शब्द रखे जाएंगे;
( 20) 53-जोकपोट निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन मे, "तुरा उपखण्ड" शब्दो के स्थान पर " पश्चिमी गारो हिल्स जिला के बाथमारा उपखण्ड" शब्द रखे जाएंगे ;
(21) 54-खेड़पाड़ा निर्वाचन क्षेत्न के विस्तार के वर्णन मे, विद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर , " वाघमारा उपखण्ड के मौजा सं ० 1 (भाग) में लस्कर इलाका स ० 9 और पश्चिमी गारो हिल्स जिला के तुरा उपखण्ड में मौजा स ० 2 के लस्कर इलाका सं० 11 , 12 और 15 " प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी;
( 27) 55-डालू निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में , विद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर, "बाघमारा और तुरा उपखण्डों की मौजा स० 9 [परिशिष्ट की मद ( 19 ) मे विनिर्दिष्ट ग्रामो को छोड़कर] , और पश्चिमी गारो हिल्स जिले के तुरा उप-खण्ड में मौजा सं ० 8 के ग्राम 5/ 8/ 36- भोदरा -लुटियाड़ी, 5/ 8/57- मालमुश्रा, 5/ 8/ 58 -सिलागुड़ी , 5/ 8/ 59- तारापाड़ा, 5/ 8/60- देबाजानी , 5/ 8/ 65-धाबाकुड़ा, 5/ 8/66 -गोबुन्यापाड़ा और 5/ 8/ 67-धौपाकोरा " प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी;
(22क) 59-सलमानपुरा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के नाम मे " 59 -सनमानपुरा" के स्थान पर " 59 -सलमानपुरा" तथा " मोजा स ० 2" के स्थान पर " मौजा स ० 1 " पढ़ा जाएगा;
(23) 56 -डालमगिरि, 57 - रगसाकोना , 58 -श्रम्पातिगिरि , 59- सलमानपारा और 60 महेन्द्रगज निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के विस्तार के वर्णन में, जहां कष्टी "तुरा उपखण्ड" शब्द आएं, उनके स्थान पर, "पश्चिमी गारो हिल्स जिले के तुरा उपखण्ड" शब्द रखे जाएंगे;
(24) 60- महेन्द्रगंज निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में " मौजा स० 7" के स्थान पर " मौजा सं ० 8 " पढ़ा जाएगा;
( 25) 26- नागकरेम निर्वाचन क्षेत्ल के विस्तार के वर्णन में, परिशिष्ट की मद ( 11 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट ग्रामों में , " । सैटलुम" के स्थान पर " 1 641 - पैटलुम" और 2 मायमुथो " के स्थान पर, " 2 650 मावमुथोह " पढ़ा जाएगा ;
( 26 ) 30 -मशैल्ला निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन मे , परिशिष्ट की मद ( 13 ) में "शैल्ला सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत " के स्थान पर , " 30 शेल्ला सभा निर्वाचन-क्षेत्र" पड़ा जाएगा,
II टिप्पणी मे, अनुसूत्री के अन्त मे, " 1975 के अगस्त मास के प्रथम दिन" शब्दो और श्रको के स्थान पर, " 1977 के अगस्त मास के प्रथम दिन" शब्द और अक रखे जाएंगे;
III उक्त आदेश के परिशिष्ट मे ( 1 ) शीर्षक के अन्तर्गत "परि- शिष्ट" शब्द के नीचे , "खासी हिल्स जिला" शब्दो के स्थान पर, " पूर्वी और पश्चिमी खासी हिल्म जिले " शब्द रखे जाएंगे ;

(3) भद सं ० ( 2 ) में " 43-मावफरेव " प्रविष्टि हटा दी जाएगी;
(4) मद स० ( 5) में " 52 -खुलिया " प्रविष्टि के पश्चात् " 53- मावफरेव" प्रविष्टि जोड़ी जाएगी,
(5) मद सं० ( 7) के अधीन शीर्षक में " शिलाग पुलिस स्टेशन" गब्दों के स्थान पर " मैरांग उपखण्ड" पढ़ा जाएगा;
(6) मद स० ( 14) , ( 15) और ( 16) के अधीन शीर्षकों में जहां कही "नोगस्टोइन उपखण्ड" शब्द आएं, उनके स्थान पर, " पश्चिम खासी हिल्स जिला" शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।
(7) मद सं० ( 16 ) में, विद्यमान प्रविष्टि " 1-1 - उमलिपगकुह" के स्थान पर " 1-1- उपटोंगकुट" पढ़ा जाएगा;

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th January , 1978
S.O. 28 (E ) Whereas the Government of Meghalaya have intimated some printing mistakes , errors arising from inad- vertent slip or omissions and alterations in the names and boundaries of certain territorial divisions referred to in the description of constituencies given in Schedule XV of the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 1976 ;
And whereas the Commission considers it necessary and expedient to correct the printing mistakes and also to make amendments in the description of the constituencies in the Schedule XV of the Delimitation of Parliamentary and As- sembly Constituencics Order, 1976 , to bring the Order upto- date;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) of section 9 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950 , the Election Commission hereby makes the cor- rections in the said Order as follows :-
I. In Part B , of the Schedule-
(1) In 3. Sutnga-Shangpung and 4. Raliang, in the des- cription of the extent of constituencies , for " 6 /5 /180- Shangpung Mission Shangpung and 6/5/181 -Thadmuthlong" read " 6/ 5 /180-Shangpung Mission , 6 / 5 /181-Thad- muthlong and 6/ 5 /194 - Rtiangshangpung" ;
(2) In 6. Nongbah- Wahiajer , in the description of extent of constituency , for " Village 6/ 5/ 55 - Ummulong" read "Villages Sabahmuswang , 6/ 5 / 55 -Ummulong";
(3 ) After the description of the extent of constituency 7. Jowai, for the heading " KHASI HILLS DISTRICT" the heading " EAST AND WEST KHASI HILLS DISTRICTS " shali be substituted ;
(4) In the description of the extent of constituencies 8 . Mawhati, 9. Umroi , 10. Nongpoh and 11. Jirang for the words " Ri Bhoi Administrative Unit " , wherever they occur, the words " Ri Bhoi sub- division in East Khasi Hills district" shall be substituted ;
(5) In 12. Mairang , in the description of the extent of constituency, for the words "Shillong Police Station " , the words "Mairang sub -division in West Khasi Hills district" shall be substituted ;
(6) In 13.
