ORDER
New Delhi, the 2nd February, 1978
S.O. 59(E).- Jn exeidse of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby rescinds the Mustard Oil (Piice Control) Order, 1977, published with the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Civil Supplies and Co- operation No. S.O. 702 (E) dutcd the 30th September, 1977 :
Provided that such rescission shall not affect—
(a) the previous operation of the said Order or anything duly done or
suffered thereunder; or
(b) any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, ucciued or in-
curred under the said Order; or
(c) any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any
offence committed against the said Order; or
(d) any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such light, privilege, obligation, liability, penaUy, foifeittue or puitish- ment as aforesaid;
and any such investigation, legal procccdinK or remedy may bo instituted, con- tinued or enforced, and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be im- posed as if the said Order had not been rescinded.
