G.S.R. 68(E)—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (11) of section o3 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939 (4 of 1939), and in supersession of the notification of the Govommcnt of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport No. G.S.R. 601-E, dated the 1st September, 1977, the Central Government hereby specifies the number of motor vehicles specified in column 3 of the Table below for which the appropriate authority of a State mentioned in the corresponding entry In column 2 of the said Table may, for the purpose of encouraging long distance inter-State road trnnsnnrt arant national Dcrmitb in that State
