S.O. 67(E).—In pursuance of clause (d) of sub-paragraph (1) and sub-paragraph (2) of paragraph 17 of the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968, the Elec- tion Commission of India hereby makes the following amendment with immediate effect in its notification No. 56/78, dated 25 January, 1978, published as S.O. 40(E) in the Gazette of India, Rxtraoidinary, Part IT, Section 3(ii), dated 25 January 197K, and as amended from time to time, namely :—
In Table 3 of the said notification, against item No. 11. Maharashtra, under column 2, for the existing en- tries "14. Elephant, and 15. Ladder", the following entries shall be substituted :—
"14. Elephant, 15. Ladder, 16. Cultivator cutting crop,
Umbrella, Drum. Fish. Woman. Charkha. Pigeon, Lotus, Chair, Lock, and Key, Cultivator winnowing grain, Goat, Flaming Toich, Deer, Peacock, Hand Pump, Ink Pot and Pen, Spectacles, Sewing Machine, Mug, Aeroplane, Eagle about to fly, Clock, Two cultivators returning after cutting crop, Radio, and Basket containing vegetable."
