Q. 68(E)/lBFB/IDRA/78.—Wheica<, by the Order of lh" Government of India in Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. 567(E) dated the J8th July, 1977, the management of the industrial undertak- iftg"""knDwn as Messrs. Alexandra Jute Mills Limited, Calcutta (hereinafter refoued to as the said industnal undertaking), has been taken over under sub-soction (2) ot section 18FA of the Industrial (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of J95I). for a period ot five years upto and inclusive of the 17th July, 1982; And wheicas the Central Government is satisfied that in relation to the said industrial undertaking it is necessary so to do in the interests of the general public with a view to preventing fall in the volume of production of the scheduled industry, namely, Jute industry;
Now, therefore, in exeicise of the powers confeued by clause (b) of sub- section (1) of section 18FB of the said Act, the Central Govcinment hereby declares that the operation ot all contract, assurances of property, agteements settlements, awards, standing oideis or other instalments in force immediately • before tbe date of issue of this Order (other than those relating to secured liabilities to bunks and financial institutions) to which the said industrial undertaking or the company owning such industiml undertaking is a party of which may be applicable to such industrial undertaking or company shall remain suspended foi a period of one year and thnt all the rights, privileges, obligations ana liabilities accruing or mhing thereunder bcfoie the said date shall remain
- suspended for the period.
