S.O. 83(E)/18AA/IDRA/78.—Whereas the Central Gov- ernment is satisfied from the documentary evidence in its possession that the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Prabhuram Mills Limited, Chengannur, Kerala, has been closed for a period exceeding three months and such closure is prejudicial to the concerned scheduled industry, namely, cotton textile industry, and that the financial condition of the company owning the industrial undertaking and (he condition of the plant and machinery of the industrial under- taking are such that it is possible to re-start the under- taking and such re-starting is necessary in the interests of the general public ;

(3) The Central Government may terminate the appoint- ment of the authorised person earlici, if it con- siders it necessary to do so.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18AA of the Indus- tries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby authorises the Kerala State Textile Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as the authorised person) to take over the management of the whole of the said industrial tiadsrtaking, subject to the following terms and conditions, namely :•—
(1) The authorised person shall comply with all directions issued from time to *ime by the Central Govern- ment.
(2) The authorised person shall hold office for a period of five years from the date of publication of this Order in the Official Gazette.
(3) The Central Government may terminate the appoint- ment of the authorised person earlier, if it con- siders it necessary to do so.
2. This Order shall have effect for a period of five years commencing from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
