NOTIFICATION
Now Dolhi, the 10th February, 1978,
G.S.R. 73(E)/ESS. COM. /SUGARCANE— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 3 of the Sugarcane (Control) Order, 1966, and having regard to various factors mentioned under sub-clause (1) thereof, the Central Government, after con- sultation with such authorities, bodies and associations, as are considered necessary by it to bo consulted, hereby, on the basis of the basic minimum price of sugarcane at Rs. 8.50 per quintal linked to a recovery of 8.5 per cent or below with a premium of 10 oaise per quintal for every 0.1 per cent, increase in recovery above 8 5 per cent, fixes, with immediate effect, the price specified in column (3) of the Schedule hereto annexed as the minimum price and shall be payable by the owner of the vacuum pan process sugar factory specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said Schedule or his agents for sugarcane delivered at the gate of his factory or at any purchasing centre until the 30th September, 1978 subject to the rebate payable therefor under clause 3A of the said Order.
