Subject : Export of Cummin Seeds and Turmeric-—preban commitments
thereof.
F. No. 28/3/78/E1..—Reference Public Notice No. 2-ETC(PN)/78 dated
4-1-78 on the above subject.
On review of the position, it has since been decided (in partial modi- fication of paragraph 2 of the aforesaid Public Nolke) that such cases of preban commitment in respect of cummin seeds and turmeric may also be honoured in which the shipping bills were passed before 4-1-78 but exporters could not secure permission to effect shipment because of the imposition of ban.
