NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th February, 1978
S. O. 122(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-clause (b) of Clause 2 of the Newsprint Control Order, 1962, No. CH(l)-18(l)/62 dated the 17th January, 1962, the Government of India are hereby pleased to appoint Shri R. C. Doy, Deputy Press Registrar, Office of the Registrar of Newspapers for India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, New Delhi, to exercise powers of the Controller under that order, with immediate effect,
2. This Ministry's earlier Notification No. S. O. 234(E) dated the 27th March, 1974 relating to the appointment of Shri R. Narayan, Deputy Press Registrar, as Controller under the said Order is hereby cancelled.
