S.O. 131 (E).—Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the resignation of Shri Bhagwat Dayal Sharma, elected to that House from 3-Karnal Parliamentary Constituency in the Stale of Haryana;
270 T WP aA7BTTR OF TNDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]S.O. 132 (E).—Tn pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission hereby appoints, with res- pect of the bye-election to be held in 3-Karnal parliamentary constituency in the State of Haryana in pursuance of• its notification No. 100/HN-HP/l/77(l) dated 1 March, 1978 ;—
(a) 8 March, 1978 (Wednesday), as the last date for making nominations ;
(b) 9 March, 1978 (Thursday), as the date for the scrutiny of nominations;
(c) 11 March, 1978 (Saturday), as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures;
(d) 2 April, 1978 (Sunday), as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken; and
S.O. 133 (E).—In pursuance of section 56 of the Repre- sentation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. as the hours during which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken for the bye-election to the House of the People from 3-Karnal parliamentary constituency to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 10O/HN-HP/l/77(l), dated 1 March, 1978.
(e) 5 April, 1978 (Wednesday), as the date before which the election shall be completed.
