NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 10th March, 1978
S.O. 172(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 39 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, (43 of 1951), read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897), and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Election Commission hereby directs that in the Schedule appended to clause (e) in the Commission's notification No. 318/78(1) dated the 8th March, 1978, published io the Gazette of India, Ex- traordinary, Part II, Section 3(ii), dnted the 8th March, 1978, for the existing entries relating to the State ol Haiyana, the following entries shall be substi- tuted :—
"5. Haryany 3ul April, 1978".
