S.O. 174{E),—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Sec- tion 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, (43 of 1951) read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act. 1897 (10 of 1897) ind all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Election Commission hereby makes !he following amendments in its notification No. 318/78(4) dated the Sth March, 1978, namely:—
For the existing entry in column (2) of the Table appended to the said notification, against the entry relating to ll-Meghalaya, subs- titute the entry :—
"Under Secretary II, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly."
