NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd March, 1978
G.S.R. 19l(E).—In pursuance of the provisions of sub-iule (4) of rule 1 of the Standards of Weights and Measures (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 1977, in partial modification of the notification of the Government of India m the late Ministry of Civil Supplies and Cooperation No. G.S,R. 621 (H), dated the 26th Septembei. 1977, and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Civil Supplies and Cooperation No. G.S.R. 781i(E), d. ted the 29th Decembci, 1977, the Cential Government hereby appoints the Hi dav of July, 1978, as the date on which the following provisions of the said mles shall come into force, namely ;—
(i) rule 5; (ii) clauses (e) and (g) of sub-rule (1) of rule 6; (iii) rule 7; (iv) sub-rules.(3), (4), (5) and (6) of rule 12; (v) rules 13, 14, IS, 20, 2], 28. 29, 30, 31, 32, 33; and (vi) t,o much of the piovtMom of rule 34 as relate to any component, part or mi teri.il used in any workshop, service station or any other place where servicing oi repairing of any bicycle or tricvele is undertaken.
