No. F. 12(4)/77-R&C.—Whereus, in pursuance of the pr"wis|Mis.-of section 2 of the Salary and Allowances of Leaders of Opposition in Parliament Act, 1977 (33 of 1977), the Chairman of the Council of Stutes has recognised Shri Kamlapati Tripathi, as the Leader of the Opposition in the Council of States;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby notifies Shri Kamlapati Tripathi, as the Leader of the Opposition in the Council of States with effect from the 23rd day of March, J978, for the purposes of tbe said Act,
