NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 281b March, 1978
G.S.R. 194(E).—In exericse of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of section 23 of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954 (37 of 1954), the Central Government hereby directs that in respect of the Prevention of Food Adulteration (Amendment) Rules, 1977 published with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Health and Family Weli'aic, duted (he 12th Decmebcr, 1977 vide GSR 118 in the Part II, Section 3, Subsection (i), dated the 21st January, 1978, the data specified for the purpose of inviting ob- jections and suggestions on the said draft rules shall be extended fiom 7th March, 1978 to 15lh April, 1978 and makes the following amendment in ihc notification aforesaid :~
In the first paragraph of the said notification, for the woids, "otter the expiry of forty five days from the date on which the copies of the official gazette containing this notification are made available to the public", the following shall be substituted, namely :•—
"after 15lh April, 1978."
