G.S-R. I96(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Passports Act, 1967 (15 of 1967), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Hxternal Affairs No. GSR 398(K), dated the 30th August, 1972, namely :—

In the Schedule to Ihc said notification, in the second

column—

(a) in (he entries relating to Assam, for item 3, the followinfi item shall be suhslitirtcd, namely : —

"3. Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam,

Passport Department, Shillong." ;

(b) in the entries relating to Gujarat, for the existing item, the following item shall he substituted, name- ly :—

"Under Secretary to the Government o[ Gujarat, General Administration Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar." ;

(c) in the entries relating to Orissa, the existing item shall be numbered us item 1 thereof and after the fd) in the entries relating to Tripura, item 2 shall¹ be renumbered as item 3 thereof and before item 3 us so renumbered, the following item shall be in- serted, namely : —

"2. Under Secretniy to the Government of Tripura,

Political Department, Agartala.";

(e) in the entries- relating to Ultur Pradesh, for item I, the following item shall be substituted, namely :—

"']. Joint Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pra-

desh, Home UP Administration, I.iicknow.";

(f) in the entries jelating to Andaman and Nicobar Islands, after item 2, (he following items shalr be inserted, namely :—

"3. The Judicial Secretary, Andaman and Nicobar

Islands, Port HIair.

A. The Assistant Secretary (Confidential Cell), Anda-

man and Nicobar Islands, Port Blair."
