R. 198IE).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the third proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 10 of the Comptroller and Auditor General's (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971 (56 of 1971), the Presi- dent, after consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor General, hereby telieves the Comptroller and Auditor General from the responsibility of keeping the General Provident Fund Accounts of Class IV employees of the Govern- ment of Punjab.
2. This order phall come into force with effect from the accounts of
1978-79.
