S.O. 438 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 39 of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1977 (29 of 1977), the Central Government hereby appoints the 10(h day of July, 1978, as the date on which the provisions of the- said section shall come into force.
