NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17lh July, 1978
G.S.R. 373(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 53A, read with section 642, of the Companies Acl, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Gov- ernment, in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, hereby mukes the following rules further to amend the Companies (Acceptance of Deposits,) Rules, 1975, namely ;—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Fourth Amendment Rules, 1978.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of (heir publication in the Oflicial Gazette.
2. In clause (b) of rule 2 of the Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Rules, 1975,—
(a) for sub-clause (iv), the following sub-clause shall be subslituled,
namely :•—
"(iv) any amount received by a company from any other company.
(b) for sub-clause (iv) as so amended, the following sub-clause shall
be substituted with effect from 1st day of April, 1980, namely :—
"(iv) any amount received by a company from any other company where the former company has not gone into commercial production and has not accepted any deposit from the public."
