NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th July, J978
S.O. 452{E).-—Whereas election has been held in pursuance of the noti- fication No. S.O. 390(E), dated the 16th June, 1978, issued under section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), for the purpose of filling the seat of a member of the, Council of States elected by the mem- bers of the Electoral College of the Union territory of Mizoram who retired on 16th July, 1978, on the expiration of his term of office;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the said Act, the name of the member elected by the members of the Electoral College of the Union territory of Mizoram is hereby notified for general information:—
