PUBLIC NOTICE
New Delhi, the 21st July, 1978
INDIRECT TAXES DIVISION
No DRAWBACK/PN-33/78—Under rule 4 of the Cus- toms and Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 1971 (Notification No 52/F No. 602/2/70-DBK published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated the 21th August, 1971), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Table published in the Public Notice No DRAWBACK/PN-1 doted the 15th Octobci, 1971, as, amend ed from time to time :—
In Note (1) after the entry of sub-serial No. 5903 after the figures 1 7 1977 the following shall be added, namely: —
"or Notification No 117-Cus/F No 602/14/78-DBK
dated 9-6 1978,".
This Public Notice shall be deemed to have come into
force on the 9th day of June, 1978

VII In Statement 'A' under sub-serial No. 2730 in sub-item (iii) 6i' item N the entries '2602 OR' and '2603 OR' shall be omitted.
VHI In the Note under sub-serial No. 2902 for the date
'30-9-1978' read '31-8-1978'.
IX. In column 'Description of export goods' against sub- item (ii) of item (c) of sub-serial No. 3608 for the words 'made of C. R. Sheets/Strips' read 'made of C. R. Strips'.
X. In the proviso to item (c) of sub-serial Ho. 3608 the words 'C. R. Sheets' wherever they occur shall be omitted.
XI. In the proviso to item (c) of sub-seriat No. 3608 for the words 'manufactured out of skelp or' read 'manufactured out of skelp'.
XII. In the column 'Description of export goods' against item (i) of sub-serial No. 3643 for the words 'made out of steel sheets' read 'made out of C. R. steel sheets/strips'.
XIII. In the column 'Rate of drawback' against item (a) of sub-serial No. 3810 fro the words and figures "and salt Act, 1944" read "and Salt Act, 1944, plus".
XIV. In the first Note under sub-serial No. 3820 for the CORRIGENDUM
word 'Cellophen' read 'Cellophane*.
XV. In the column 'Rate of drawback' under sub-serial No. 3824 against item (a) for the word 'while' read 'whole'.
No. DRAWBACK/PN-34/78.—In the Public Notice No. DRAWBACK/PN-27/78 dated the 1st June, 1978, published in Part I, Section 1 of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, the Central Government hereby makes the following correc- tions therein :—
XVI. In the column 'Description of export goods' against sub-serial No. 4507 the following correction shall be made :—
I. Under the column 'Rate of drawback' against sub-
serial No. 104 (b) for the words'eight six' Read 'eighty six'.
(i) For the words 'components, parts' read 'component
parts'.
I. Under the column 'Rate of drawback' against sub-
serial No. I ll for the word 'Candies' read 'Candied'.
(ii) For the word 'namely' read 'mainly'.
III. In the proviso under sub-serial No. 1911 for the
ward 'produced' read 'produces'.
