IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
Subject :—Import Policy, 1978-79, imports from Afghanistan.
Flic No. IPC/3/19/78.—Attention h invned to the Imopil Policy, 1978-79, published under the Department of Commerce Public Notice No. 22-ITC(PN)/78, dated the 3rd April, 1978.
2. By the condition No. (8) in Appendix 10 at page 79 of the Import Policy, ] 978-79 imports of dry fruits are not allowed from Afghanistan upto 31-7-1978. On a review of the position, it has been decided to extend thii period upto 2-9-1978. Accordingly the said condition No. (8) shall be amended to read as under :—
"(8) In the case of dry fruits and crude drugs,, imports will not be allowed from Afghanistan under Open General Licence upto 2-9-1978".
