An Act to repeal the Maintenance of Internal Security Act , 1971 .
BE it enacted by Parliament in the Twenty - ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows : -
Short titte.
1. This Act may be called the Maintenance of Internal Security (Repeal ) Act, 1978 .
2. The Maintenance of Internal Security Act , 1971 , is hereby re pealed.
